Happy Holidays

Hi everyone sorry for the LONG period of silence. The holidays obliterated me. Though I can tell you that I am currently working on my next book and since some of you have been patiently waiting I will tell you what my new book is about. And no it isn't the next book in Millersburg.

The new series I am working on is called Trinity Mates. I am halfway-ish through book 1. I am trying to make these longer than my lovely shifters and I have shot my plot all to hell so I am totally pantstering this. Was that even a word? Anyway. This series takes place in a galaxy far, far away and involves space pirates/acquisitions experts. Yeah aliens. It seems to be a theme this month.... Don't judge.

I haven't typed anything up yet since I do things old school and write it down on paper first so give me a little bit long and I am hoping (fingers crossed) that I will be done with rough draft #1 soon and I can begin typing everything up and start giving you little snippets and teasers.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I know some of our loved ones can't be with us this time of year due to being overseas or in Heaven. Or hell depending on the person....

I was really enjoying Christmas. I received Darth Vader jammies from my mother and I was totally rocking those out all day long.

Well have a Happy New Year! Stay safe and drink responsibly!

The Next Book

I have started on my next book and will have my first draft done soon. But I am finding that the book I am working on isn't the next book in my Millersburg Shifters series. So! I will be starting on that rough draft this coming week and somehow juggle writing both books, work, and the holidays.

I am hoping to have my next book published by next year. *snicker* Yes I know a whole 20 days until January. I am still unsure which book will be done by then but one of them will be. I will have a short excerpt for you in the coming days.

If you haven't gotten your copy of Triple Threat or Taming An Alpha please check out my author page on Amazon. If you have gotten your copy please leave a review on Goodreads or Amazon! Thanks a lot and I'll see you all soon!

Excerpt from Taming An Alpha

Anyone ready for a Taming An Alpha excerpt? If not then too bad because you're getting one!

Jack waited impatiently for Gabby to show up with Sparrow. He saw Gabby’s truck coming up the drive and waved her down. They climb out of the truck and walk up the drive. He stared at Sparrow, watching the sway of her hips, thinking about how he wanted to caress her curves. He shook his head. He really needed to get his brain out of his dick. “Glad you could join us ladies. Last night there was an incident and Charise was kidnapped by her stalker, Ares. She was retrieved unharmed, mostly, and Freya would like our help canvassing the area. Sparrow, since you’re a PUA agent I figured you would be able to help her investigate the cabin.” “I hate to break it to you but anything I find would be just circumstantial evidence due to the fact that I am an EX agent.” “At this point I don’t think anyone cares.” He looked at Gabby. “You’ll be searching the surrounding area with me and the rest of the clans. The Ursus Clan and Shanbeel Pride are also helping with the search. Look for anything out of the ordinary.” Gabby nodded and took off into the forest. Sparrow thought about all the protocols that were being broken but when push comes to shove she guessed it didn’t matter. She looked at Jack and found him staring at her, his eyes filled with a searing heat. “You going to show me where this cabin is or are you going to drag me off to some secluded meadow to have your wicked way with me?” He stared at her in shock. He wasn’t sure if she was serious or joking but his cock was in agreement with her suggestion. He grabbed her and pulled her close, smirking at her wide eyed look. “Don’t tempt me. I might just take you up on it.” He could faintly smell the sweet aroma of her arousal wafting in the air. “Let’s go help Freya before I really do drag you off and do all the wicked things my cat has been clamoring for me to do.” He turned on his heel and walked away. Sparrow stared at him in confusion. Where was the asshat that she met when she came to town? Maybe he had a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde complex. Wait. Didn’t they call that bipolarism? Maybe. Was that a word? She shook her head. He had flustered her and now she was becoming scatterbrained. She jogged to catch up to him. “So…” She tried to think of what she was going to say but lost all train of thought as he turned to look at her. “Dammit stop looking at me.” He burst out laughing. “Why?” “You’re making me scatterbrained.” He continued laughing. She really was something else. She was kind of like a firecracker. Slow to fizzle with a sudden bang when she got angry or thrown off balance. The cabin came into sight and he quickened his pace chuckling as she ran to keep up. “You’re an ass,” she said when they reached the front steps. “Have to keep you from thinking I’m a gentleman.” She watched him speculatively. “I think you are a gentleman. You just don’t want anyone knowing. Might ruin your rap as a badass alpha male.” She was definitely smarter than she looked. He would have to watch what he said and did around her. He didn’t need her thinking he could be tamed. He knocked on the cabin door and waited for Freya to answer. The door swung open revealing Freya’s somewhat frazzled appearance. She motioned them in as she stepped back. “Watch where you step.” She turned and handed Sparrow a set of latex gloves. “Thanks for coming. The sheriff has decided that since this was a shifter crime this is a shifter matter. He is leaving us to it. But the only person that can help me is Sparrow. I am making you a temporary Council agent.” Sparrow nodded in understanding and pulled the gloves on. “I will leave you ladies to it. If you need me I will be helping search the surrounding area.” Jack turned and left leaving them alone. “The unsub held Charise in there until she was rescued by her mates. I have found several hairs of varying colors and length. We won’t know if they are all from one person or multiples until I get them to a forensics lab. If you want to start in the bedroom, I’ll finish here in the living room.” Freya handed Sparrow a small forensics kit and headed to the far end of the main room of the cabin. Sparrow walked into the bedroom and began looking for evidence. She found several hairs along with a few pieces of jewelry that were not characteristically worn by men. Unless they were crossdressers. She picked up a ring and her breath caught in her throat. “Is the cabin privately owned or a rental?” “According to my intel it is a privately owned cabin on 20 acres of property that has been in the Ursus family for the last five generations.” “What about his mother? Alive or dead? Any sisters?” Freya came into the room, stopping just inside the door. “Mother’s dead. No sisters. Why? Did you find something?’ “The loving touches around this room. Doilies on the nightstands, a vase of flowers, accent rugs. Men don’t usually think about things like that. He wasn’t a drag queen was he?” Freya shook her head. “From what everyone has told me he was completely heterosexual but maybe he hadn’t come out about his sexuality.” “Then we might be looking at multiple victims. I found these around the room.” She held up varying pieces of jewelry. Freya picked up a bracelet. “This belongs to Camia Johnson. It was in the picture her mother gave me.” “And this belongs to my sister.” She held up the ring. “Dad gave this to her when she graduated high school.” “Your sister’s name is Robyn right?” At Sparrow’s nod she continued. “Gabriella told me about why you moved to town. I’m sorry that you had to move here just to find out what happened to her.” “Didn’t you do the same thing?” Sparrow arched her brow knowingly. She had worked many cases that ended up going cold or that were deemed not important. Freya chuckled. “Yeah I did. I guess I was also looking for a home for my pack and now the thought of leaving Millersburg just doesn’t sit right.” They placed their evidence in bags and finished looking around the cabin. They found more hairs and jewelry but it was the blood stain they found under the living room couch that really unsettled them. Jack returned to the cabin as they were finishing up. “There’s a warehouse just to the south of here. We can smell blood emanating from it. My men investigated it further and found what looks like a makeshift fight ring.” Freya nodded. “Have your men stakeout the place and see if anyone comes back. If someone does do not apprehend them. We need to see if they can lead us to the missing women.” “Women?” He only knew of Charise being taken. How many others had the sick bastard taken? “Two confirmed with possibly more. I won’t know until I get my evidence to forensics. One of the confirmed is Sparrow’s sister Robyn.” Freya put the evidence and kits in her truck and pulled out a roll of crime scene tape and padlock. She was oblivious to the tenseness growing around her. Jack looked at Sparrow. She hadn’t told him about a missing sister. But then he hadn’t really given her a chance to talk to him without him being an ass. Hell. Looked like he might be apologizing for being a horse’s ass. “Sister?” Sparrow sighed and stepped off the porch. She walked down the drive towards Gabby’s truck but was deterred by Jack when he led her over to his. “My sister disappeared six months ago from this area. No one believes that she wouldn’t just take off like this.” He helped her into the truck and got in. He revved the engine and pulled out of the drive. “I’m sorry that your sister was taken.” She nodded. If only she had come with her sister maybe they would both be at home right now. But as her mother used to say, everything happens for a reason. “At least now I know she didn’t run away. I just wish I had gone with her like I was supposed to.” “Why didn’t you?” He may be an ass but he was curious about the woman that drew him. He wanted to know everything he could about her. Well almost everything because women had to have secrets just like men. Hopefully his didn’t scare her too much. “On my last assignment I was shot while looking into a rape case. I caught a silver bullet in the hip, shattering my pelvic bone. The doctor's pinned my hip back together but couldn’t get all the silver out. I ended up a desk jockey because of the pain when I shift.” She absently rubbed at her hip, still feeling the lingering pain. “What should have only taken a couple of months to heal ended up taking eight. Robyn and I were supposed to come down here for some sister time but since I was injured I couldn’t come. She wanted to just stay at home and look after me. We had already paid for our cabin and on such short notice they wouldn’t refund our money. I told her to come down and have fun. Meet new people. Party.” She looked up at him with pain filled eyes. “I never thought about the danger she could have been in. I am a federal agent and I know about the dangers out there but I guess I always thought that nothing would ever happen to my family.” “You didn’t know this would have happened.” He grabbed her hand, smoothing his thumb over her soft skin. “We will find her.” “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.” She smiled sadly at him. He really was trying to not be an asshat. He pulled into the parking lot of Wolf Haven, turning towards her after cutting the engine. If only things were different. But if they were she most likely would’ve never have met him. She looked so cute when she was deep in thought. He leaned across the space separating them and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. It felt like silk. Would her tiger’s fur feel the same way? He had never felt like this with anyone else before. Could she be… He inhaled her scent, the harsh acrid smell of her suppressant was gone and in its place was the smell of fresh meadows and strawberries. She was a tiger shifter. His tiger growled as the need to claim her washed over him. He clenched his teeth as he felt his incisors lengthen. Thank God she wasn’t looking at him at the moment or he would have looked weird as hell fighting with his inner beast. Turning into an oversized prehistoric tiger inside his truck would not have been a good thing. He would have squished her and possibly broken his truck. Fat ass cat. His tiger snarled at him. Sparrow turned to thank him for bringing her home. She saw his eyes flash in the darkness and felt her tiger purr. He was still an ass even though he had been nice to her. She wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of adding a notch to his bed post tonight. “Thank you for bringing me home.” She opened the truck door. “I’ll see you tomorrow at work.” He grabbed her hand before she could climb out. “I’ll pick you up in the morning. We have a lot to talk about.” Like finding a secluded spot along the road or going back to his lair and claiming her. But why didn’t she feel the connection? She was a shifter so why didn’t she acknowledge that he was her mate? She narrowed her eyes and watched him curiously. “Ok in the morning then.” She climbed from the truck. “Goodnight Jack.” She closed the door and walked into Wolf Haven. He watched her ass jiggle with each step. This woman called to both the man and beast. “Goodnight kitten.” He would be claiming her soon. But would she accept him as her mate?

New Release!

Taming An Alpha, book 2 of the Millersburg Shifters launched yesterday. It also marked the count down to Christmas and something even more important to me. My son's birthday. So I am apologizing in advance that my posts might be a little more erratic than normal. I have the great horror of shopping for a birthday and Christmas this week.

So from me to you have an enjoyable 24 days of Christmas! I will hopefully post more about my next book on here in the near future but no promises. Sorry for the short update but enjoy this wonderful time of year!

Panster or Plotter?

Am I a panster or a plotter? I am actually a mix of both. I do a light plot for my books and then I write by the seat of my pants trying to make sure I hit on the points I have plotted out. Sometimes I don't always get the point in one book but over an expanse of books. (Yes I know I have only published two so far.) But I felt that if I crammed every point I was trying to get across into the first book you would have missed out on meeting so many characters and getting to know them.

Am I always a light plotter? No. In fact most of my stories came about because I had a scene pop into my head and then jotted it down and then just kept adding to my collection of scenes and ideas. Then voila! I have the makings for a story.

I know some of you are probably following a lot of writing vlogs. I know I do. And I could probably talk about each of my blogs with you on a vlog but I hate having my picture taken and the idea of by caught on camera sends chills down my spine.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that are celebrating this week. I know with extended family and job schedules that it isn't always possible to celebrate on Thanksgiving Day. For those of you that have to work today (like myself) I hope you all stay safe and have a happy holiday.

Just Not Shaking It

Ever have one of those days where you just want to take your pen or other pointy object and shove it into someone's eye or even your own eye?

That is how I feel today. I have been in a bad mood since work started and I just can't seem to shake it. I've taken a shower, watched funny videos, eaten ice cream. Nothing seems to help. I want to work on my next book but I think that this wouldn't be a great time to do that. Maybe I should write a  murder scene.... From the view point of the murderer...  Nope. I don't even want to kill off imaginary people.

The only thing that made my day was when I put a dollar in the Coke machine and got two bottles of Coke. Now to make it even better and I can definitely say this will never happen again. One said Someone Nice and the other Someone Naughty. I gave the nice one to one of my BFFs and kept the naughty one.

If you haven't checked out my Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads, or Amazon page the links are below. I hope you all are having a great day, at least a better day than I am.

Who's Ready?

Who's ready for book 2 of Millersburg Shifters? I know I am! Book 3 is slowly making an appearance on paper. Dirty rat bastards refuse to talk to me. So I am jotting down notes on what will be going on in book 3.

Plus that bloody fox keeps driving me nuts. You will be meeting the fox that has been pestering me at every turn soon unless he keeps it up and I end up writing his story before I am ready to.

Anyway now that my rant about my characters is over (for the moment) let me tell you about a personal goal I am hoping to achieve with book 3. I am hoping to bring in a larger crowd that will like the Millersburg Shifters. So I guess my request is that if you have friends who likes to read casually suggest my books. or send them to my Facebook page or Twitter page.

Or you can hook your friends up with a copy this holiday season. Hey just saying. Unfortunately I am not far enough along in this series yet to feel comfortable doing a giveaway. Though to give you all a heads up I will be doing a giveaway after book 3 comes out.

So if you don't have your copy of Triple Threat or your pre-ordered copy of Taming An Alpha then now is the time! I suddenly feel like I should be holding a giant sword and leading an army into battle.

Onward ho! Faster Peanut we must keep up with our army! Damn your short legs! Damn my short legs!

Yes I am insane.....

It is okay to say it. I have fully accepted that I will be getting one of those hugging jackets. I want mine in black with pink and purple accents. OOOH can I also have matching shoes and hair bows?

Sorry. Hmm. Yea. Check out my books. Or my other blog where I usually keep my insanity contained.

The Wait is Almost Over

Taming An Alpha is done!!!!!! YAY!!!! There is even a few surprise scenes and a bonus chapter that my wonderful betas didn't get to read. This should be available to buy by the end of the month if not sooner since I have noticed Amazon is hinky like that.

If you haven't gotten your copy of Taming An Alpha then you can get it here: http://goo.gl/USvAzw

FYI I am totally jumping up and down with joy that I am done with this book. This is the second novella length story I have finished and my second complete piece of work that I have ever published. Yes I have published before but I wasn't completely happy with them like I am with this one.
Oh and during my revisions one of my characters for another book wormed his way in and tried to steal the show. I wouldn't let him.Just watch for his tootsie roll! ;)

Yes I just totally did an emoticon. You'll understand when you get to that particular part of the story.

The Story Inside

There is less than a month until Taming An Alpha launches. Are you as excited as I am? If you haven't gotten your copy of Taming An Alpha then you can get it here: http://goo.gl/USvAzw

But that isn't what I am going to talk about today. Yes yes I know I should be self promoting but I feel that I sometimes go over board and that's all I talk about. That isn't what I want to do. I want to reach out to my readers and let them know that I don't live on a pedestal.

I have a friend that I love like a sister and I've known her since middle school. She didn't think she was a very good writer, or could even write at all. But I told her that she needed to get her story out onto the page and then she could worry about grammar, sentence structure, and everything else. That all she needed to do was focus and get it out. I believe she was over thinking it and stressing herself out. I know I do this.

Getting your rough draft out is the first step. It isn't going to be perfect that's why they call it a ROUGH draft. Once that is done then you can begin the journey of polishing your jewel. But be careful not to over do it or you take the life out of your story. I have done this. I am sure that I did do this to Triple Threat. I over analyzed and took the life out of it. Good comparison: book 1 looked like it had been stabbed repeatedly and was covered in red markings, book 2 had a few cuts and red marks but didn't look like I had killed it and soaked it in red ink.

Why do both drafts look so different? Because when I edited Triple Threat I thought I had to edit it to the point of no return when in fact I don't. I sent out Taming An Alpha to my betas before I even began doing edits. You know what happened? They loved it. They pointed out minor fixes and places I needed to do a little nip/tucking but overall it was a good read.

Now that I have digressed lets get back to what I had been trying to say. To all the people that have a wonderful story idea but think they can't write or not good enough to get published. You won't know that you can do it until you try. That's part of the process.

You have to have confidence in yourself and tell yourself that you can do it otherwise you'll just let a wonderful story idea wither away. Even if the idea is just a fan fiction but you don't want to deal with all those horrible nay-sayers. I'm sorry to say that dealing with them is also part of the process. Am I saying have a stiff upper lip as they bully you? Hell no! But not everyone is going to like your story.

Should you just type up your rough draft and then throw it out there for everyone to read? No. You need to think of your story as a child. Would you send a child to school covered in dirt? No. Don't send your story out into the world before you clean it up. Edit it, revise it, have someone beta read it. Or pay someone to edit it for you if need be. But remember that you have to take the first step and get your story onto paper.

Happy Halloween

I hope everyone is having a Happy Halloween!! I'll be spending my night burning the midnight oil and working on my rewrites and new scenes. Though I'm not going to lie and say I haven't spent the day pigging out on candy. And I may have creeped everyone out at work by dressing as a heartless psychopath. But hey I am who I am.

If you haven't gotten your copy of Triple Threat you can find it here: http://goo.gl/P0cLGF
And if you haven't preordered your copy of Taming An Alpha you can get it here: http://goo.gl/USvAzw

I am hoping to have everything done by the end of next week and you guys might even get your copies early.

Tomorrow starts Nanowrimo and I usually participate but this year I won't be but I will be giving everyone that is lots of support. I will be working on one of my mystery projects next month and I have even had a zombie story lurking in my mind, though I'm not sure if I want to write it some of the scenes that have been going through my mind for it are heart wrenching. Maybe I just need to rewatch The Walking Dead....

Ok I'm going back into my own little world.

Happy Halloween!

Slaughtered It

There is a HUGE possibility that I may have over edited my first book. I have gotten a few good replies from my beta readers about book 2. And I pulled out my lovely copy of book 1 and compared my editing notes between the two. Book 2 has a few cuts and bruises while book 1 looks like it has been slaughtered.  So there is a big possibility that once I am done with the series I will be going BACK over book 1 and 'fixing' it AKA changing it back. I am almost done with my edits I have a few more betas to hear back from and then I can begin the wonderful process of rewriting and then submitting it.

Next month is Nanowrimo! I usually participate but I won't be this year. I already am jotting down notes and beginning my outline for the next book in the Millersburg Shifters series. But I am not sure which characters I want to write about.

You can't just change your characters! Yes, yes I can. My outline is constantly changing from what I originally jotted down. I even have a new character that I didn't know was going to show up. Yay more character descriptions....

I have also noticed that I seem to love the word so.... I have edited it out I don't know how many times now from my books and blogs. And the word anyway.... I am not a very prolific word person. Which makes no sense what so ever.

Whatever. That's what a dictionary and thesaurus is for.

But I am very excited. One of my friends has decided to write her own story and so far I am loving what she has researched and outlined. I can't wait for her to finish it so I can read it. I may see if she has any of it written by the time book 3 comes out so I can pop a preview in there for all of you.

Q&A 1

So I was scrolling through Pinterest and came across this. Some of the questions asked I had no answer for. FYI these are not verbatim.

1. What's your book about? It's a paranormal romance and can be found on Amazon

2. Did you self-publish and are you making money? Yes I did. *snorts and laughs hysterically*

3. How long did it take you to write your book? 2 years

4.Why should I read your book? Because it is amazing and I would love for you to fall in love with the characters like I have.

5. As a writer what are you good at? I am good at imagining fantastical worlds and bringing them to life. (Book I am referring to has not been published yet.)

Questions 4 and 5 I really had to think about and my answers are probably not the best ones out there but they work for me. Are these all the questions an author is going to be asked? No.

I have met some people who want an in depth explanation of your book which pretty much tells them the whole story and then they never read it. I have found that just replying with my blurb is the best course of action.

I have even been asked if I was ever going to go through a traditional publisher. Um... I've only published one book and my second one is up for pre order. I don't know if I would go through a traditional publishing company. I might. I might not. I honestly don't know.

Then the one that killed me. Am I going to find your book at my local book store? This hurt. I would love to be able to see my books on shelves at book stores but I am not going to be offering a paperback version of my books until after book 3 has been published. I don't feel that my stories have enough meat on their bones to offer a paperback version for each one.

But each author is different and so is each series. When I started writing the Millersburg Shifters series I knew they would not be very long stories. Just like my spin off series Millersburg Agents. These are just to create my niche in the publishing world.

Do I have other stories planned? Yes I do and some of them are nothing like my Millersburg Shifters. I don't only write paranormal romance. I also write about zombies, fantasy worlds, outer-space, and undersea worlds.

I've already divulged more than I want to so I am going to stop with these final words of wisdom. Each author is different. Just like each book is different. Never compare yourself to others otherwise your story will never get written. You have a voice inside of you that wants out. If you keep pushing that voice to the wayside it won't be there when you are finally ready to write down what it is telling you.

Beta Readers

I posted on my personal Facebook page for beta readers and I was asked a very important question that I felt needed to be addressed. The question was whether or not it was a paid gig. For a first time writer I told them my sales were not enough to actually pay them but... Yes but I would give them a free copy of the book that they were beta reading for me.

I felt that I should give a bit of advice to other new authors out there. If you have beta readers who are willing to read your book free of charge that's awesome. But it's just good manners to give them something in return. (Edit) If you are a new reader and find someone willing to be a beta reader, always offer them a free copy of your book if they want one. I would not suggest offering money, unless you have ready cash for them. If you want to offer them money do not depend on what you get from sales.

1. You don't know what your sales are going to look like.
2. If you go through Amazon you won't get your first payment for 60 days.
3. Taxes and fees (may) apply to what you get. So if you price your book at $.99 then when someone buys it the get charged $1.07 (if I did my math right) and then there is a Delivery Cost if you do 70% Royalty (which pricing starts at $2.99)

But beware your beta readers. I'm not saying all of them are bad most are really nice but there are bad apples out there. They might steal/copy your work. Or troll you once you have published your work. Yes there are some messed up people out there. Just turn on the news.

Also, there is always one thing that sits in the back of my mind. These are my friends (if you are using your friends as beta readers) are they really going to give me their honest opinion or are they going to sugar coat it?

This question dogs me every time I ask someone to read something for me and it has actually stopped me a few times. But to be a successful writer you have to face your fears. To be successful at anything you have to face your fears. I've talked about my fears before.

Hopefully after the feedback I receive I will get my edits done and have it submitted for ya'll to read on December 1st. I thought I had set up the pre-order for Dec. 14th but I was wrong. Anyway, keep an eye out for little updates on my Facebook page and Twitter. I try to remember to update but sometimes I forget. I'm sure some of you are going to ask about my personal page but I will tell you right now that my personal page is just that, personal.

Don't forget to get your copy of Triple Threat and pre order your copy of Taming An Alpha.

Look at me getting all tech savvy... Not! I learned how to use the little links button.... Yeah I'm a dork. It's ok. Don't hate me for my dorkiness.

A Quick Update

After I publish Taming An Alpha I will be taking a short break due to the holiday season and since I am a supervisor at work that means I will be grumpier when I get home. (Retail sucks!)

I am hoping to be bringing you either book 3 of the Millersburg Shifters or one of my mystery projects that I work on when I take down time from my series. But next year I will have a full schedule and will be working long and hard on my books.

After reviewing my schedule I realized that I won't have much time to be blogging a whole lot in the coming year so please do not be upset if my posts are sporadic. Now I am off to finish up what I am working on. Tootles!

Excerpt from Taming An Alpha

I am in the mood to share today and have decided to put an excerpt on here for you all to read. Please note that this is unedited and will most likely be different from the final product. You can pre order Taming An Alpha here: http://goo.gl/USvAzw

Chapter 1

Sparrow Williams expected the worst when she walked into Cougar Construction. What she wasn’t expecting was the hottie sitting behind the front desk. Everything from the top of his shaggy golden head to his muscular tattooed forearms screamed sexiness.

She couldn’t help her attraction. He exuded power, an alpha’s power. And he was big. His broad shoulders hinted at just how giant he would be when he stood up. A strong nose, broken once or twice, defined cheekbones and a square dimpled chin told of his superior genes. She could imagine tracing the lines of his tattoos with her tongue and finding out where they led to.  If she hadn’t been told she was working for shifters she would have thought he was a god.

He definitely didn’t look like the owner of a renowned construction company but more like a biker and straight out of her wet dreams. Down kitty. We’re here to keep Jack Kale in line not fuck every male in sight.

“Can I help you? Strip for you maybe?” He looked up at her, his jade green eyes locking with hers. He smiled as she coughed and composed herself. His eyes trail down her body, taking in curves made for loving, an ass to hold as he claimed her. He licked his lips thinking about how sweet her skin would taste. He smelled the lingering effects of her heat, the faint acrid smell of the suppressant she was taking and her growing arousal. He could imagine spending time in bed with her as soon as he figured out what kind of shifter she was. Damn drug.

“You must be Jack Kale. I’m Sparrow Williams, the new secretary,” She watched his flirty demeanor morph into a cold blank mask.

“Thank you for coming but I don’t need a secretary. Especially a female still dealing with the lingering effects of her heat and masked scent.” Damn his father for hiring such a tempting morsel. How was he supposed to keep his dick clean when all he wanted to do was sink it into his gorgeous new secretary?

“I’m taking a suppressant and my scent will be back to normal in a couple of days.” She bit her lip to keep from snarling at him.

He glared at her. The woman really was too tempting. He wanted to sooth where she had bitten her lip and then bite it for her. Right before he laid her across his desk. “I don’t care. Leave.” For his own sanity.

She snorted. If he treated all women like this then she didn’t understand why she was needed to keep him in line. “Are you always and asshole? Or is it just me?”

“Just you.” Only because I can’t fuck you into oblivion like I want to.

She chuckled and sat down in front of him. “To think I was hired to keep your dick in your pants. I just need to keep you in this mood all the time.”

“Obviously you can’t take a hint. If you don’t leave in the next 30 seconds I’ll forcibly remove you from this office,” he growled. Or take you back to my lair and never let you leave until you had at least three cubs. Fucking hell.

“No you will not,” Lachlan said as he walked into the office stopping next to Sparrow. “I hired her to keep you in line, not for you to toss out the door.” He looked at Sparrow with his jade green eyes that were just as mesmerizing as his son’s. “Miss Sparrow, I am Lachlan Kale. I am sorry for my sons appalling behavior. He thinks we do not need a secretary.”

“If you hadn’t fired Char we wouldn’t need one,” Jack growled.

“If you had kept your dick in your pants instead of screwing every female you meet I would not of had to replace her.” Lachlan looked at his son dispassionately.

Sparrow chuckled. “All he has to do is treat the women like he treated me after he found out who I was.”

“I usually have to beat them off with a stick,” Jack growled. Tempting little minx. Keep taunting the tiger and see what happens.

“Must have been the desperate ones,” she snarled. The thought of someone receiving any kind of affection from Jack angered her. She wanted to hunt them down and turn them into dog kibble. Damn this heat. Making her go psycho for an asshole.

Interesting. Lachlan looked between the two of them and had to stop from chuckling. “If you do not want me to call your cousin Parker and have him come take over then I suggest you play nice with Miss Sparrow.”

I’ll play nice all right. When she’s tied to my bed and wearing my mark. Fuck! “That lazy cougar would run this place into the ground.”

Lachlan just stared at his son with a look asking if he really wanted to go there.

Jack snarled. “Make yourself at home Miss Williams. I’ll be on site if you need me.” Right after I go home and rub one out. He stalked out of the office slamming the door behind him.

Lachlan had noticed the state his son had been in and wished that Moira was here to witness it. They would have both fallen over in laughter. He sighed at the thought of his missing mate. “I’m sorry for my son’s behavior.” He pulled a sheaf of papers out from under his arm. “Here is the paperwork I will need you to fill out. A list of necessary numbers is included along with the computer password. I will bring you your own set of keys tomorrow.”

“Thank you.” She accepted the sheaf of papers and moved around to the other side of the desk. She nearly moaned in ecstasy as Jack’s scent enveloped her. She sat down in his vacated seat and hoped that Lachlan didn’t smell her arousal.

“No thank you for taking the job. You were highly recommended by your superiors. I am hoping that Jack will have accepted your presence by next week.”

“Next week? Why by next week?” Her mother always told her that curiosity got the kitty in trouble but in this case curiosity got explanations.

“Yes. I am retiring from both the pride and the family business. At the end of next week I will be leaving for Jamaica.” And when he came back maybe have some grandcubs on the way. “If you need anything just call me. Lock up when you go to lunch. I doubt Jack will be coming back to the office today.” He removed his office key from his key ring. “Just use my key until I am able to bring you your own.”

She smiled at him as she took the key. He reminded her of her father before everything went to hell. “Thank you and I will.” She watched him leave before going out to her car and grabbing a small box of things she used to have at her old desk. As she was walking back into the office she didn’t see the figure coming up behind her.

“Hello.”

Sparrow whirled around not expecting someone behind her.  The petite woman behind her exuded happiness. “Can I help you?”

“I’m Gabriella, Gabby for short. I’m the new electrician.” She paused and Sparrow looked at her wondering if she needed anything. “My friends and I were wondering if you wanted to go to lunch with us. Sorta like a welcome to the neighborhood gesture.”

Sparrow smiled at the perky woman. “Sure I would like that.”

Gabby smiled widely. “Ok see you at lunch.” She bound away causing Sparrow to liken her to a puppy. She chuckled and walked back into the office. At least she met someone nice today unlike a certain jerk of a boss. She growled as she thought of him. She refused to be treated like that again.

Tired

Omg... I am so tired. But I can say that after the release of Taming an Alpha I will be working on a few different things. I can't so for sure what will be released after Taming an Alpha but there will definitely be something. I did an outline for a scifi story that I have been adding notes to. At the moment it should be a stand alone but I don't know for sure.

Anyway I hope all of you have enjoyed Triple Threat. If you haven't read it yet then check it out on Amazon. If you like it then please check out book 2 which is up for preorder.

Anxiety & Fear

I wrote this on Tumblr before I published Triple Threat and I need to continually remember this.

I started writing on tumblr as a way to express myself and show people my work. But I have found that one of my fears is that my friends will read my work and look down on me because of it. Yes it is an irrational fear but it isn’t without a cause. My best friend through high school read one of my pieces of work and then promptly told me it was a bad porno. I am sure you can guess what genre I write in. That statement has haunted me through my writing career. It has held me back more times than I can count.
It didn’t matter that several people like my work or that my mother loves reading my stories (I tell her she likes them because I am her child). It didn’t matter that I have worked hard at my writing. All it took was one horrible comment from someone I trusted to shatter my confidence. It didn’t matter that this comment was made 10+ years ago.
But as I was writing the blurb for Triple Threat today and thinking about putting it up for pre-order I wondered if I was ever going to actually get over this fear. I decided I was. Why should I fear what someone thinks of my work? I don’t care what people think of me when I am at work or out and about doing errands. Why can’t that feeling of not caring extend to my work?
So I am making a stand here and now. I refuse to be afraid of how people think of my work. If you don’t like what I write that is fine. If you like it that is great. But I want you to know that if you are my friend then please expect to see parts of my work crop up on my tumblr, facebook, and blog. And please know that I’m not trying to offend you I’m just tired of being afraid. I want to show pride in my work but I need to break the chain that held me back. I am done being afraid.

This is very true and as I told someone earlier if you have a fear of something write through that fear. Blog about it, take a stand and kick fear in it's face (figuratively). Don't let fear and anxiety get you to stop doing what you love to do. I refuse to stand down and stop writing just because someone didn't like what I wrote. And neither should you! If you love writing or something else creative don't stop just because someone said something bad about your work.

Having Fun

Having a fun day today. Not a whole lot of writing (at the moment) but without laughter what is life?

It has been brought to my attention that one of my favorite authors is thinking about doing a giveaway. I would like to help her but I honestly don't think I have enough followers to truly help her out. But we will see what happens in the next couple of days. And yes I have been thinking about getting swag for my Millersburg Shifters.

If you see a woman walking around with a Pikachu on her head that may be me. I got it in my Loot Crate today! Pure awesomeness!

One of Them Days

You ever have those moments when you wonder why you even bother? I have had several of those today. First at work and now that I have gotten home and looked at both Goodreads and Amazon I just wonder why. I know that people like my work but at the same time I want to know why the people that didn't like it didn't.

Usually I don't care one way or the other but today just seems to be one of those days. I can't seem to get anything accomplished. I'm exhausted and frustrated. Hell, maybe I should just start writing horror stories and see how that helps my agitation.

But I know that I will continue on with my stories. I don't write them for my readers I write them for me. I'm just going through one of those writer slumps where I think all I write is crap. To some of you maybe I do but to others they actually like my work.

My Weirdness

I have been working on the Millersburg Shifters series and have neglected the stories I had 'shelved'. But as I was going through Pinterest (procrastinating) I came across 'The 10 Worst Openings'. I read them and I'm not going to lie I love being cliche, I love B movies and other things like that. In fact one of my 'shelved' stories starts with an argument. I am very tempted to write books with these 10 worst openings. But I am just weird like that. Seriously.

Anyway, I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend! I will be working my fingers off to bring you the next installment of Millersburg.

Sneak Peak of Book 2

Here is a quick sneak peak at Taming an Alpha!

A Wonderful Thing

A wonderful thing a cold is. It makes you miserable and unable to breathe. Add in the reason I want a hysterectomy every month and I hate to be one of the living right now. I'm trying to get through book 2 and all I want to do is curl up in my bed and waste away. But for some horrible reason I have to work. Oh yea food and rent.

Anyway book 2 is about a certain playboy tiger meeting his match. I am trying to figure out how to introduce the heroine to the hero without blowing the whole story out of the water. Sometimes it sucks trying to be a cognitive thinker when I just need to chug some cold medicine and sleep for the next four days. I am hoping that by Monday I will be feeling a lot better.

I am also looking at getting a revamped cover. I went to get the cover for book 2 but was unable to find the artist's shop again and since I want my covers to tie together I will be getting a revamped one. So that is something to be expecting here in the near future.

New Things? Maybe?

I am thinking about doing a review series on here since I read a lot of books. I am still working on my Millersburg series but sometimes you have to walk away for a moment and take a breath. I'm not sure when I am going to start doing this because I haven't read anything in the last day or two. Is there a book that you would like to see get a review? If so email me at alicefrost2013@gmail.com

I am happy to say that the rough draft of book 2 is almost done. But then comes a step that is a little harder and fleshing out the bare bones of my draft. I can tell you that my rough drafts are more like fleshed out outlines. So guess what I will be doing for the next couple of days since I am off from my day job. You guys might even get a sneak peek if I get far enough.

Also if you haven't gotten your copy of Triple Threat you can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/Triple-Threat-Millersburg-Shifters-Book-ebook/dp/B013Z0FBRI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1441661636&sr=8-1&keywords=Alice+Frost+Triple+Threat&pebp=1441661642834&perid=06VDXCM18M8HT9PXENQK

No Book Is Perfect

A few days ago I wrote a post about publishing. I'm sure that you will see it if you keep scrolling. But as I was *cough* procrastinating *cough* I came across a post on DeviantArt that was very true. The journal was titled Is Your Skin Too Thin? ( http://neurotype.deviantart.com/journal/Is-Your-Skin-Too-Thin-355303762 ) and it was very true.

Being an author isn't easy. Yes I talk about being a new author but I'm not, I have published before and it didn't go very well. People didn't like my work or didn't understand it. Some down right hated it. But guess what? That is ok. It made me take a look at my writing and decide how I am going to change for the better. I love the stories I write but I also have to remember that I am not going to please everyone and that just because no one bought a copy today doesn't mean that they hate it. Sometimes it is hard to remember that being a bestselling author takes a lot of hard work and time.

Yes it takes time. Time and continual learning. Even Stephen King's writing has changed since his very first book. Because authors are continually learning and changing. Things they wrote about two years ago may no longer be popular or the slang they used may not be used anymore. If you read a book from the 70s or 80s it is going to be different from how things are written now.

Now there are plenty of books, articles, blogs, whatever out there that tell you how to write the PERFECT book. FYI no book is perfect. I still find bloopers or misspelling or grammar mishaps even in a bestselling authors books. Is it in all of them? No. Is it their fault? Not always sometimes during the editing process things don't get fixed or the fixed area doesn't make it to the printing press/ebook. But not every book is perfect and not everyone is going to love your book. But as long as YOU love your book who cares.

Think of your book as your kid. Would you love your child less if he/she had flaws? I hope you said no there. No one is perfect. Except deities and sometimes they have flaws too. So please remember that just because you got a bad review or you go a couple days without any sales it doesn't mean the end of the world.

Now if you are getting bad reviews because you sent your 'finished' product to Amazon/other ebook platforms before editing for spelling, grammar, etc then you need to take it as constructive criticism and seriously take another look at your manuscript. Editing is an essential part of the writing process. "But I don't want to edit it. It is fine." Guess what buttercup you better suck it up and double check because you may think it is fine but you need to check to make sure. Take a green/purple pen to your printed copy and start fixing. Triple Threat had hardly any edits at the beginning of it but by the time I came to the end I was slaughtering it. I even back over the beginning in a different color.

So I will end my blog here and say that if you plan on publishing your book just remember that a lot of hard work goes into it, even if you have to research some of the steps to edit and revise. It is ok if you don't know every step. Research is your friend and your friends are sometimes even willing to give you a look at it and critique it.

A Challenge

Found this on Facebook and decided to give it a try. The closest book to me was The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales. The first sentence on page 45 was this "My love for is so great, that if all the leaves on all the trees were tongues, they could not declare it." Creepy? Kinda but when you read the entire paragraph it becomes kind of romantic and seeing as I have no love life.

"My love for her is so great, that if all the leaves on all the trees were tongues, they could not declare it. I will give my life to win her. You are my most faithful John, you must help me."

Now the story this came from was Faithful John, which in Grimm fashion was dark and disturbing. I originally was going to tell you what the story was about but I think it's more fun to have you go read the story yourself.

Alice Frost on Publishing

I can tell you that as a single mother with a full time job and a passion to become an established author that it isn't easy. Sometimes there just isn't time to write much less think. But as a new author myself the biggest piece of advice I can give any budding author out there is: Make time. Even if it is just a few minutes while the kid is in the bath and dinner is in the oven cooking. Just jot down the idea you had and slowly expand on this. I have QuickMemo on my phone and Nooote Free on my tablet, which come in handy when I'm at work. Having a voice recorder also works.

Another thing that as a new author that takes time and unfortunately money is finding a cover that fits your story, especially if you are self-publishing. Most readers, myself included, are cover shoppers. If the cover looks good then they will buy it. If you have the money to buy a professional cover then you can move forward a little faster in publishing. If you don't have the money you can save up for the one you have your eye on but you risk the chance of someone else buying before you. Or you can find a temporary cover that kind of fits your story but then you risk the chances of no one buying your book. Now there are several sites where you can get premade covers and I suggest looking through those sites like you were buying a new house. Yes, that one is what you WANT but does it fit the story? Does it have everything you NEED to express? Will it draw your potential buyer it?

Yes yes I know I am a new author myself how do I know what I'm talking about. I do a lot of research. I read a lot of reviews, about writing, and different types of writing. Do I know everything? No. But I know what steps I have taken to get my book self-published. Trial and error is ok. If you make a mistake learn from it and move on. Just don't let that mistake get you down and stop writing, editing, or publishing. Don't let anyone or anything stop you from obtaining your goals. (Unless you are a murderer/serial killer then just don't do it.)

AF out!

Gawd I need a tagline....

Three Days!

I'm almost done with the rough draft of book 2. I have been working a lot faster now that I have gotten past my reservations. I know that I want people to like my books but there is that fear that no one will like my writing style that stops me cold in my tracks.

I'm hoping to have BK 2 done by the end of the year but I also have a couple of personal projects that I want to accomplish too. Like finishing the blanket I started crocheting for my brother and my winter hats. Also I am on the lookout for the cover for book 2. I haven't found anything yet but I am determined to be successful!

So keep a lookout for updates and possible sneak peaks!

Eve Langlais Shoutout

I LOVE Eve Langlais! Yes I am an EveL Minion and proud of it! I can't tell you how much I adore her books. So I am pimping her out and telling everyone about her new book that is coming out on September 15. Here is a few short snippets and then an awesome excerpt from book 4! I hope you enjoy I know I did!

Title: A Tiger’s Bride
Series: #4 A Lion’s Pride
Author: Eve Langlais
Pretty Links:

Description:
When at first you don’t succeed–turn to abduction.
It’s all in a day’s work when this Russian Siberian tiger meets the woman he wants.
An accidental kidnapping? Check.
A forced marriage? Check.
A virgin bride? Damn. There go his plans for seduction and here comes the pressure into making her first time perfect. Because everyone knows that’s the one she’ll remember, forever. Gulp.
Add in a plane crash as well as hunters out to capture them and the heat is truly on.
Can this suave Russian mobster meet the challenge?

Short snippets:

#1:
A murmur went through the crowd, and he caught the phrase, repeated more than once by a few people present, “Here comes trouble.”
Surely they didn’t speak of the goddess he currently undressed with his eyes.
Riveted, he couldn’t help but stare at the statuesque blonde as she walked the aisle with grace, head held high, long neck tempting, hips swishing. The picture of elegance. At least she was until her heel caught on a wrinkle in the red carpet and she squeaked as she went flying.

#2:
She tried one last protest. “You really don’t want to do this.”
He didn’t think she tread on his foot on purpose. “We are dancing, little kitten, so you might as well hush and enjoy it.”
“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” was her ominous reply.
While her words promised one thing, her actual reaction proved the opposite. As they moved in a four step, her body lost its rigid tenseness, limbs loosening, her movements falling in line with his. Their tempo matched, their bodies synchronized.
Dmitri added some flair to their steps, and to his delight, she adapted, her hips swiveling, her feet stepping, and her smile beaming while her eyes lit with enjoyment.
He chose to ignore that their wild movements caused some people to dart out of the way. That was their own fault for dancing too close to a pair of suns because, yes, in his mind, they were both quite brilliant.
Again, not arrogance, just plain fact.

#3:
Now some would probably say, if he knew he was being chased, and if he valued his hide, then all he had to do was give Teena up. Leave her behind and go home.
To that, the man, not the beast, growled, “Hell no.”
But escaping with her was only part of the steps to ensure their future. Once he reached his homeland, he’d have only a little time to convince her to keep him before the council became involved. They tended to frown on shifters, even practically royal ones, abducting women.
Apparently it was so eighteen hundreds.

Long Excerpt:

Awareness came with the speed of cold honey spooling from a dangling spoon. Slowly. So slowly, and that was why it took the third time for her to grasp someone spoke.
“Say I do.”
“Hunh?” Eyes closed, and the lids too heavy to lift, her mouth a fuzzy peach in need of water, Teena’s mind struggled to wake from the most molasses sleep ever.
“Say I do,” hissed an accented voice, a voice that seemed familiar. But it was the scent that made her smile. Manly musk intermixed with a spicy cologne. It seemed her Russian admirer was still at her side. Had she fallen asleep on him at the party?
It was so hard to remember.
“Repeat after me. I. Do.”
What did she do? Forcing her brain into gear, she strove to recall events. Last she remembered, she was weaving back to the house after her sister’s wedding—drunk as hell because she was so mad at her interfering family—when Dmitri, that sexy Russian, waylaid her. He’d made sure the ground didn’t get fresh with her body parts. Instead, he let them get fresh with his solid frame.
He held her in his arms. Said stuff. Nice stuff. But forget that and fast forward to the exciting part where he kissed her.
Oh my. Upon her he bestowed a masterful kiss that melted her. She remembered the sense of weakness in her limbs. The roam of his hands, then…?
Her brow wrinkled. She couldn’t recollect anything past the amazing kiss.
Nothing. At all.
Had she seriously fallen asleep during the most intense embrace of her life?
Was this why Dmitri held her in his arms, his musky scent surrounding her? “Wake, little kitten. Just for a moment. I need you to say I do.”
“I do?” Do what? Surely he didn’t demand permission to kiss her again? Was he after something else? Blerg. She wished her brain wasn’t such a sluggish mess.
Giving her cobwebbed thoughts a mental shake, she pried her eyes open in time to see Dmitri’s handsome face hovering close to hers. She also heard the words, “I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
What!
Before she could grasp what had happened, lips pressed against hers in a molten touch that melted her questions and awakened a fire. The kiss didn’t help her regain her senses. On the contrary, she slipped into a pleasurable state with only one real thought in mind—more.
More kisses. More heat. More Dmitri.
The arms wrapped around her body held her upright and a good thing, too, seeing as how her legs had the consistency of soft rubber. A tiny part of her remarked she should protest, or at least make an effort to assert some kind of control.
She wasn’t firing on all cylinders. A sluggishness still held her. It occurred to her she should cry and be frightened, and yet…
She truly was enjoying the soft mesh of lips and the warmth of his breath. Or she was until she found herself deposited in a chair. Talk about a rude awakening.
Her body lamented the loss of the warmth from his while her inner lioness meowed in frustration. A frustration she understood all too well, given the ardor he woke refused to settle so easily.
Struggling against the lassitude in her body, she managed to flutter her eyes open, not that it helped her comprehension much. She didn’t recognize her surroundings.
A pen was pushed into her hands. “Sign here,” Dmitri’s accented voice purred in her ear.
“What is it?” she muttered through numb lips as she struggled to remain awake. She peered blearily at the white sheet in front of her, to no avail. The words on the paper wavered.
“It is what you want.”
Truly? Because…I want him.
Without giving it a second thought, she signed.
Then he did too, using the same pen she had, his bold signature alongside hers on the marriage certificate.
Blink.
Re-read.
Nope, the words on the paper hadn’t change.
She stabbed a finger at the paper, not trusting herself to speak. But if she had, it might have sounded a lot like her father, but with fewer swear words. What the fuck just happened?
He answered her unspoken question. “We are husband and wife, little kitten.”
Oh my. How unexpected.
Married. She was married. To Dmitri. I am married to the tiger.
Hunh, a coerced wedding, a first for the family and certainly never a disaster her sister had ever managed.
Point for me?
No, because Meena evaded Dmitri’s plans.
I, on the other hand, fell like a domino. Worse, I didn’t see it coming. I really thought he liked me. Thought he’d meant it when he said he would woo her and prove his intent.
What a jerk, kidnapping her like this and marrying her on the sly. Making her his wife.
His wife?
Could a lioness giggle? Her inner feline certainly seemed a tad too pleased.
His mate. The mental rumble vibrated through her body like a ghostly purr, one that left her senses alive.
Are you going to stand up and assert your rights?
“You can’t force me to marry you. Tell him.” She addressed the latter to the man dressed in a suit with a clerical collar of black and white, some kind of religious guy.  Surely he wouldn’t condone this farce. “Tell him it doesn’t count because I didn’t agree.”
“You said I do,” Dmitri reminded her.
“Because you told me to while I wasn’t even awake. It doesn’t count. And why is that priest ignoring me?”
“Little kitten, if you calm down, we can—”
“I will not calm down.” She lunged from the chair, only belatedly realizing the flimsiness of it.
The plastic bucket chair with its metal legs, a relic from the seventies, cracked. The hand she’d used to push off slid as the plastic snapped, and she lost her balance. Tipping sideways, she threw out her hand, but her reflexes were still kind of woozy and she missed, hitting the floor with her shoulder then a ricochet of her head. Damned industrial marble floor. She lay there, at an angle, stunned, and also exposing a lot more leg than she should. Through squinted eyes, she noted her skirt riding high on her hip.
Dmitri noticed too. Interest smoldered in his gaze, a gaze stolen by the collared man, who cleared his throat.
How dare he steal Dmitri’s attention?
Grrrr.
Who growled?
“Now, now, little kitten, give me a moment to deal with this obviously brave man, daring your vicious rage.”
“I am not vicious.” Vicious was her sister.
“I think you’re tougher than you know.”

Don't Hit The Button!

I did it. I hit that button that sent my baby off into the internet. Triple Threat is now up for pre-order. I can honestly say that I am proud of myself but at the same time I'm scared out of my mind. I'm almost as scared as when I put my son on his school bus for the very first time. I have questions flying through my head. Did I miss something? What if it was screwed up during formatting? What if no one likes it? What if one bad review sends everyone running? What if... What if... I feel like a high schooler again with all these insecurities! If you happen to see a woman hyperventilating into a brown paper bag then that may be me.

I know I promised this story much sooner but as I was editing I found two large plot holes that I had to take care of before I could put it up for pre-order. I'm sorry that it has taken this long to publish it. Once again thank you Shayla Mist for my beautiful cover. At this time I do not have the link to the pre-order but I will be doing another blog post with the link to it. If you do buy Triple Threat please leave a review when you get it I would much appreciate it! Thank you all for your patience.

Pre-Order

Triple Threat will be going up for pre-order within the next few weeks. I know that everyone has been seeing me post about Triple Threat for ages now, but please remember I work a full-time job and I am a single mother so I don't get to marathon write like some authors out there.

Here is the blurb for Triple Threat:

Were-bear Charise Miller hates her life. Forced to uphold her betrothal to a man she hates, her life takes an even more miserable turn. When her mates walk into her place of work to confront her boss, she realizes that she has not one but three gorgeous men that are meant to be hers. The only problem, they don't know she belongs to them. But when a shadow from her past starts to stalk her she realizes she has to make a choice.

Run or come out of hiding and let her mates claim her.

This novel is intended for mature audiences only and contains a feisty and sarcastic were-bear willing to take out anyone who comes close to her men. This book contains alpha males, a hot office scene, and M/F/M/M content.

Triple Threat & Other Updates

I can thankfully say that Triple Threat is done. Now all I am doing is editing and rewriting. I can also say that I have started working on a short story (I think). This story is just for fun and when I have free time. This is similar to other stories I have written but at the same time completely different. I can't say when everyone will finally get to see the finished project but hopefully it will be sometime this year. I hope you are all doing well! Ta ta for now!
