Journey to the Future

I'm sorry for the long hiatus. In October of 2017 I fell ill and shortly after Christmas of that year I had to have surgery. For the next 5 months I struggled with my health. I'm still struggling with my health and I am sad to say that my writing has suffered greatly. Once again I apologize for the long hiatus.

I have been free writing lately because I got out of the habit of writing while I've been sick. I do plan on revisiting the two different book series I have already published and continuing them. It may take a bit but I refuse to give up on my writing.

A lot of things have changed in the last year or so. I left my job of 6/7 years. I couldn't walk into my place of work without having an anxiety attack. I have always had depression and anxiety but since my surgery in 2017 it has gotten exponentially worse. But since I left my job I haven't had nearly as many anxiety attacks. I've only had to take my meds twice in the week since I quit.

In this week I realized how much I had given up for a job that didn't appreciate me or cared about me. I was disposable. I let my job rule my life for the last couple of years and it has greatly effected me. Now I cant wait to dive back into the things I love and have so dearly missed. I cant wait to feel the dirt in my hands as I garden, or write my fantasies on paper and share with all of you.

I hope all of you are patient with me on my journey back to being me. I know I have changed just in this last week and I honestly can't wait to see what the future holds for me.

December Update

I would like to sincerely apologize to all of you. I had every intention of being more active on here but life got in the way. I won't be able to be very active on here or with my writing. I am going to get my current project out and then it may take a while before my next book comes out.

I got sick the week before Thanksgiving and it never went away. I have been in constant pain and just recently the nausea went away. I found out this last week after many tests, x-rays, and ultrasounds, that I have to talk to a specialist about my gallbladder and I also have to go in for a CT scan for a spot they found on my kidney.

During this entire time I have been heavily medicated and off of work. But you could have used this time to write! Not really. Several of my medications cause drowsiness, so in turn I ended up sleeping all day long. I have every intention of keeping all of you updated on what happens.

Now for the real update! During the next month or so I will be updating Triple Threat and Taming an Alpha for the upcoming release of the Millersburg Shifters Volume 1. It contains the first three volumes of the Millersburg series. It will be releasing on January 31st for $4.99 It can be found here.

I already have an outline for Millersburg Shifters #4. But I know several of you are awaiting the next Trinity Mates book. Depending on what happens with my health I will try to have Millersburg Shifters #4 out by mid 2018 and Trinity Mates #2 out by the end of 2018.

Thank you all for your support and understanding. I hope all of you have a happy holiday

Day 3

It's day 3 of November and I still haven't talked about what exactly I'm doing with my currently published stories. I know I've talked about releasing a 3 pack for the first 3 novellas of Millersburg and I haven't done anything since. My plan is to go back through the first two novellas and fluff them out, fix little inconsistencies, and overall add to the stories.

The reason why I haven't done that is because I can't decide if I should re-publish them or have a major update sent out. But if I re-publish them they will no longer be 99 cents. I am hoping to have made my decision and be able to bring all of you Millersburg Volume 1, containing the first 3 novellas of Millersburg.

So far it looks like the year of 2018 will be really busy for me and very fruitful for all of you. I'm hoping that with my new schedule I can still squeeze in a few hours of writing. (I know, I'm wasting precious time writing blog posts for you and I should be writing.) I'm going to spending my time tomorrow working on my projects tomorrow.

I hope all of you stay safe in the coming hectic holiday months. See ya!

Quick Question

Welcome to the month of gratitude! The month of the turkey! The month of NaNoWriMo!

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is the one month a year that writers pledge to write 50,000 words in a month.

In previous years I participated and brought several stories to life but never finished them. I have been thinking about those stories and how I would like to finish them. I have bulging file folders for these stories that sit and gather dust by my desk. They are unlike what I publish. They could be categorized as YA Fantasy. But if I reworked them would all of you be willing to read them? They won't be my primary projects but more of a secondary project.

If some of you have been lurking about since before I change over to my pen name and reworked my blog then you might recognize what my secondary projects are. Once I have Worked on them for a little bit I will have an excerpt for all of you to read.

November Update

Sorry about the long absence. My life has been crazy. I am still working on my current project. I haven't been able to work on it as much as I'd like. I changed jobs at my place of employment and it has been hectic. Unfortunately, I won't be able to finish my current project until next year. I am hoping that I can get you a few unedited previews and maybe even a possible release date. Once again I am sorry for the long absence.

As to what I am working on. That is going to be a tough question to answer. I have several projects I am currently working on but my main project is the next book in the Millersburg series. I know several of you have been waiting on the next installment of the Trinity Mates series. I am currently working on the outline of the next book but I won't be starting on the writing process for a bit.

I am hoping that all of you hardcore followers continue to follow me as I continue on my journey through the writing world. I know I have been bad about updating anywhere and I thank you for sticking by me.

“Hey, sexy, can I help you with something?”

She looked at the man that had spoken. He was slightly overweight, had started balding, and reeked of alcohol; it was 11 am. “Yeah, can you tell Jaxon and Jason that I’m here?”

He stepped closer and invaded her personal space. “Why do you want them, sweet thang? Don’t you want a real man?”

“I already have two real men in my life. Why would I want you?” She growled softly.

The man’s face turned red and he crowded her even more. “Who the fuck do you think you’re talking to?”

“Obviously I’m talking to a womanizing bastard,” she snarled.

“Scott! What the fucking hell are you doing?” shouted a man that walked up.

“This bitch is looking for Jax and Jase,” Scott said.

“I suggest you apologize and get the hell away from her,” the man said.

“What’s she gonna do if I don’t?” Scott asked snidely.

“She’s not going to do anything but the two angry men headed this way might just kill you for insulting their girl,” the man replied.

Scott looked over his shoulder and saw Jaxon and Jason headed towards them and sneered. He looked back at Carman. “Don’t worry, bitch, we’ll finish this later.” He walked off before the twins reached them.

“Everything okay, Arius?” Jaxon asked as he walked up. Jason was staring at Scott’s retreating back with a look of barely controlled fury.

“Just Scott’s drunk ass being his usual.” Arius held out his hand. “It’s nice meeting you. I’m just sad it was under these circumstances.”

Carman shook his hand. “It’s nice meeting you too. My name’s Carman.”

He smiled at her. “I know. These two talk about you nonstop. Personally, it drives us unmated males insane.” He turned as someone called his name. “Well, I have to get back to the grindstone. Once again, it was very nice meeting you, Carman.” He turned and walked away.

“What brings you out here?” Jaxon asked.

“I found your lunch boxes on the kitchen counter and figured I’d just come have lunch with you. If that’s okay with you two,” she said smiling.

They grinned at her. “Aren’t you just sweet?” Jason said, pulling her into a hug.

She cuddled into him. “I could always go back home and have lunch with someone else.”

Jaxon pulled her from Jason’s embrace and hugged her. “We could go eat at Bixby’s.”

“We could do that.” She kissed him on the chin and cuddled into him.

“Why does he get kisses and I don’t?” Jason huffed.

“Because I’m not nice,” she said chuckling.

“No, she’s sweet,” Jaxon said, grinning.

“No I’m not.”

He chuckled. “Oh, I’m sure you honey pot is very sweet.”

She pulled away and hit him in the chest. “Perv.”

Sneak Peek #2

Hello! I know it's been a while since I've posted. But I have another sneak peek for you! Spy's Temptation is available for pre-order. If you haven't ordered your copy yet you can find it here: https://goo.gl/WdzsxA

Some of you may already know this but Spy's Temptation releases on my birthday. Cliche? Probably. But it gives me a reason to have double the celebration. I've had one other sneak peek show up in my media sites. So I propose a search. The first person to tell me what the sneak peek was, will receive a prize of a free copy of Spy's Temptation on release day along with a special secret prize. Once you have found the mystery sneak peek, message me on the social media site.

Sneak Peek
“Who’s Ashlynne?” Carman asked.

“She’s one of our clan members. Her husband died a couple years ago in a car accident, leaving her a single parent with three cubs. We’ve helped out whenever we could and whenever she let us. Thankfully, her mother-in-law lives in town and helps her out,” Jason explained.

“It’s really nice of you to help her out.”

“That’s part of being in the clan. We help each other out. Kind of like a giant family.”

“Though sometimes it’s hard to be family when those two keep refusing to listen to us about the indignant workers that are threatening them,” Grant growled.

“Someone’s threatening you?” she asked, anger creeping into her voice.

“We’ve been trying to find alternate employment for our employees but there are more employees than jobs. A lot of them are angry that the mine is closing but we’ve dug for the last year and have come across nothing but dirt. Yes, we’ve gotten threats but most of those threats are from the men who worked with our grandfather and have known us our entire lives. The most that they are threatening us with is turning us over their knee and taking a switch to our behind.”

Jaxon stood up and began clearing away the empty pizza boxes. “How about we pop some popcorn and watch a movie? Then we’ll escort you to your room and kiss you goodnight.”

Carman smiled and nodded her agreement.

“See we can be gentlemen, unlike what our sister says,” Jason said.

Grant snorted as he ate the last of his pizza. “No hanky panky in the livingroom. The rest of us spend time in there and I really don’t want to explain to Ashlynne why there are ass prints on the coffee table.”

Jason growled at Grant. “As if we would put our precious on display for anyone to possibly walk by and see.”

Grant laughed at Jason look of indignation. “Obviously, you haven’t stopped by the office at Leo Construction. Those three put a sign on Charise’s desk that they are unavailable but you get the drift before you even walk through the office door.”

Both Jaxon and Jason gagged. They knew their baby sister had sex it didn’t mean they wanted to talk about it.
